The walking part proceed across Toompea Hill once a castle and now the parliament building, then heads for St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral built in the 19th century as a symbol of Russian power, then takes in the Dome Church and finally ends on Town Hall Square in the lower Old Town.

Lunch takes place in the old town in one of the famous old traditional restaurants serving local dishes.

In the afternoon you will have time for shopping. The price level in Tallinn is still very affordable. Handicraft items such as hand-knitted woolen sweaters with traditional Estonian folk patterns, carved wooden beer mugs, fun felt hats, juniper coasters and limestone candle holders are the local specialties.
