Join us for the RYMY 2026 Pre-Tour, where you can combine valuable networking with an unforgettable travel experience.
Tornio–Haparanda is a unique twin city at the northernmost tip of the Bothnian Bay, along the Torne River. One community in two countries, two currencies, and two time zones create a fascinating borderless destination that brings people together.
The four seasons offer striking contrasts, from icy winters to gentle summers and lush river valleys. Local stories and border history can be explored at the Tornio Valley Museum.

If you're arriving with your car, you can drive the Pre-tour route yourself.
If you wish to join the bus, you can leave your vehicle in Tornio, where the tour will both begin and end.

VR-sponsored train journey for Pre-tour participants to Kemi from the south of Finland.
A local guide from Visit Tornio-Haparanda will welcome the group at the railway station.
